Mets General Manager Brodie Van Wagenen provided an update on pitcher Jacob deGrom, who had an MRI on his elbow on Monday. According to Van Wagenen, deGrom’s MRI was “good” and “clean.”
The Mets ace reportedly threw in the bullpen on Monday without issue and will throw some more on Wednesday. If there are no further issues, deGrom is expected to take the mound on Friday against the Brewers. Good news for Mets fans, indeed.
